Greetings and thank you for dropping in. I am a psychotherapist with over 35 years service in the mental health field. For over 20 of those years, I have been in private practice, the majority of that time with Affiliates in Counseling and Psychology here in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Lawrenceville is the county seat of Gwinnett, a growing, bustling, booming county with all of the opportunities as well as the trappings that a megalopolis affords. It's exciting to be here, but for some, overwhelming at times.

 

Prior to being solely in private practice as I am today, I held various positions in the mental health field. I served an out-patient agency as their group therapy supervisor. I worked as an in-patient treatment coordinator on an adult unit. I worked 5 years as a family therapist on an adolescent unit. For 10 years I directed the Employee Assistance Program for a 3000+ employee manufacturing plant.

So I've been around the behavioral health block, you could say. Yet for all that history, no one activity has been so fulfilling as what I do in this private practice: assist individuals, couples, and families to make changes in their lives. I help persons help themselves toward a happier, more functional life. I love what I do, I do it well, and I think you'll see it shows.
