Brett joined his family’s company as an assistant project manager in 1984. He rose through the ranks to become co-president in 2005, and was named a co-chairman of the newly formed Board in 2017. As one of the chairman, he provides strategic vision for the firm and oversees the principal leadership team.
Under Brett’s shared direction, HITT grew steadily and today is ranked among the 100 Top General Contractors nationwide. With a focus on implementing leading technology, Brett streamlined the company’s overall construction delivery process with today’s most advanced tools such as web-based project management, video conferencing, and building information modeling (BIM).
His commitment to give back to the community is exemplified both personally and through corporate giving to a variety of organizations, charities, and schools, including Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and Wounded Warriors Project.

Brett is married to Kristen, whom he met in college. They have four children: Cullen, Blaine, Avery, and Mason.
