Overview

Denizen at Eisenhower Square is a brand new 23-story, multifamily apartment building in Alexandria, Virginia. This 563,350-sf complex consists of 336 residential units and seven levels of parking for 446 vehicles.

The structure consists of a post-tensioned concrete system with light-gauge steel framing for nonbearing partitions. The apartment has four elevators and two exit stairs to serve all floors of the building. For the exterior skin, the first five floors of the tower are primarily modular brick on steel stud backup. The remainder of the tower consists of precast panels and an aluminum window wall glazing system. Amenities on the 23rd floor include a yoga studio, game room, club room, and fitness center.

A lavish pool with rooftop terrace and barbeque grills are also available for tenants. The sixth floor features a pet spa and dog run, full outdoor kitchen / bar, barbecue grills, and a green roof.

Denizen at Eisenhower Square is designed to LEED Certified standards, making sustainability a priority. HITT’s virtual construction team used 3D coordination during the preconstruction process for this building. Our preconstruction team focused on value engineering and planned for unforeseen challenges to deliver quality results.
