The Fendi Casa project in Manhattan was a 10,000-sf interior renovation of the designer’s expansive two-level showroom. Our team installed new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as well as partition infrastructures for the showroom’s custom staircase. Every detail in the store was carefully constructed, from the custom millwork panels to the metallic floating ceiling grid, to the wall paint that was applied with a spackle knife. Communication with the overseas design team was critical to the project’s success as many of our materials were coming from Europe, which could easily impact the schedule. Working around the different time zones and finding the right time to connect with the design team allowed us to gather the information necessary to keep the aggressive eight-week project schedule on track.
