Biological sample storage facilities include more than 100 individual MVE Vario series cryogenic freezers and custom owner-provided automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS). Electrical infrastructure includes dual 12 kV incoming utility feeds into new paralleling switchgear to support 480V distribution to the repository. A new 600KW generator provides redundant power. Mechanical infrastructure includes 100 percent OA DOAS AHUs (N+1 configuration), air-cooled chillers (N+1), and central compressed air systems. LN2 scope of work includes a 15,000-gallon bulk tank vacuum insulated piping (VIP) LN2 piping for distribution. Emergency systems include central O2 alarm functionality with local GfG detection, dedicated exhaust with emergency power off (EPO), and REES Scientific monitoring of freezers and cold storage ASRS units.
