Rivian Last Mile Hub

HITT renovated and modernized an existing automotive service facility into a last mile hub for Rivian, supporting electric vehicle (EV) delivery and post-production operations. Serving as a link between Rivian's EV supply chain, the facility is designed for final-stage vehicle preparation before delivery to customers. The renovation included the installation of specialized vehicle maintenance equipment, including two- and four-post lifts, a wheel alignment system, an air compression network, and a car wash station.

In addition to technical upgrades, HITT built out a customer-facing office suite with a lounge area and installed both interior and exterior EV charging stations. The team performed full-site civil and infrastructure work, including trenching and excavation in compliance with stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) protocols. This automotive facility renovation plays a key role in Rivian's broader automobile manufacturing and logistics lifecycle.
