Pay Equity

Launched a company-wide salary study and pay band alignment to ensure fair compensation across the organization

Livable Wage

Established a living wage of $63,000 for all salaried, non-exempt team members nationwide, regardless of position, to ensure all team members can provide for their families

Foundational Trainings

Established training and resources that are required for every project site and at new hire orientation to ensure key policies like Zero Tolerance for Intolerance are upheld

Military-to-HITT Training Program

Launched a new program to help transition military veterans to construction, offering a career path at HITT upon re-entry to the civilian world

Inclusive Language

Continual audit and evolution of all business materials to ensure inclusive language that represents our values and promotes equal opportunities for all people

Culture & Collaboration Knowledge Center

Developed an ever-expanding resource portal for team members that provides self-guided learning experiences, training opportunities, and materials for the multitude of topics on culture and collaboration in the workplace

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Launched ERGs that create communities with shared experiences to foster inclusion and inspire conversation – seven affinity groups now exist.

Mentorship Programs

Offer formal mentorship programs through our ERGs that offer sponsorship and coaching by our leaders.

Cohort Learning

HITT brings together groups of team members with shared professional goals and guides them through a curated development program. Participants have greater opportunities for engagement, more accountability, peer-to-peer knowledge transfer, structure, and the ability to foster new relationships.
