Overview

J. Fontaine has garnered extensive government construction expertise throughout his 22-year career in the industry. He first became interested in construction as his father was a superintendent, and after college, he worked his way up at several respected general contractors in the Washington, DC region before joining the HITT team in early 2023.

In his role as vice president of the government team, J. is responsible for leading and managing teams to deliver a variety of project types for local, state, and federal government entities as well as in the K-12 and higher education markets. He is responsible for leading and managing project teams to deliver exceptional results for clients by overseeing subcontractor negotiations, procurement strategy, schedule, and contract execution. He manages project teams from preconstruction through closeout, providing executive oversight and championing the client’s best interests.
