Overview

Michelle’s career includes more than 15 years of accounting experience supporting multiple construction firms. She joined HITT in 2012 and has held leadership roles on both the project accounting and corporate accounting teams. In 2018, Michelle was promoted to director of project accounting overseeing HITT’s national teams. In 2020, Michelle was promoted to vice president of accounting.

As vice president of accounting, Michelle provides senior leadership to HITT’s national project and corporate accounting teams and oversees all aspects of HITT’s accounting transactions and financial reporting. She manages the consolidation of HITT’s financial data to produce financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, coordination of external audits, and the annual budget and forecast process. Additionally, Michelle is responsible for overseeing banking and finance activities, ensuring proper reporting to all tax authorities, and compliance with a comprehensive set of internal controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of our financial data. As a senior leader at HITT, Michelle serves as a member of HITT's Enterprise Governance Committee and is treasurer of the HITT Contracting Foundation.
