Overview

Preston Ward is an experienced safety professional with more than 15 years of experience in the construction safety industry. He joined HITT’s dedicated safety team in 2022 as the director of safety, overseeing and advising on jobsite health and safety implementation for all East Coast projects. He has principal responsibility for trade partner performance in building high-quality projects safely to the satisfaction of our clients. Before joining HITT, Preston gained his experience with a respected local construction firm in Washington, DC overseeing large-scale projects, overseeing all aspects of safety operations while training and mentoring new safety managers and eventually moving up into a leadership role within the safety team where he partnered on corporate strategy and leading company safety objectives. In his role at HITT, Preston utilizes his expertise to drive a safety culture with zero-incident expectation through motivation, collaboration, and accountability for all on-site partners.
