Space City, Bayou City, H-Town—the city of Houston has come to be called a lot of things over the years and we are proud to call it our newest hometown.
HITT Contracting Inc., a national leader in general contracting headquartered in Washington, DC, announced their acquisition of Houston-based Trademark Construction, a full-service commercial contractor with more than thirty years of experience.
Brett Hitt, President of HITT Contracting Inc., stated, “We’re excited to welcome Trademark’s team members to HITT. Their history, culture, and commitment to client service are a perfect fit for us and together we can make an even stronger impact for our clients in Texas and beyond.”
The acquisition of Trademark will strengthen HITT’s position in Texas and expand the firm’s ability to service clients in key sectors such as corporate interiors, healthcare, technology and commercial base building construction. The new 55 employee office will operate as Trademark HITT for the foreseeable future. Trademark HITT will recruit additional talented construction professionals to further expand operations.
“There’s been synergy between our teams since day one,” said Chris Hines, Trademark principal. “A similar set of values guides both organizations and I see this acquisition as an evolution—adding national experience that will allow our team in Houston to reach the next level in project scope, size and volume.”
Chris Hines will continue to serve as the regional leader for the combined company, Trademark HITT.
