The boardroom has a felt ceiling with integrated sound attenuation measures, built-in banquet seating, millwork features, state-of-the-art LED screens, and equipment for teleconferencing. HITT closely coordinated open-ceiling areas and lighting-wrapping walls and incorporated custom millwork ceiling elements throughout the suite, including integrated moss and lighting. The space has walls and ceilings with writeable and magnetic surfaces to encourage employee engagement and a collaborative culture. The reception area includes reclaimed wood, custom seating, graphics, and polished concrete. The project followed the District of Columbia Green Construction Code for sustainability practices.
