THE HITT EXPERIENCE “HITT's efforts during initial pricing set a positive tone for the entire project and they have continually addressed all challenges. We have been lucky to keep the same individuals involved on the project for the duration, which has been a major asset. Any constructability issues have been resolved quickly in a thoughtful and efficient manner that has led to minimal schedule impacts on the project. I will undoubtedly enlist HITT’s services on future projects.” BEN DINEEN Director of Development, FD Stonewater Solutions Solutions Solutions Solutions Solutions Unique Challenges, Smart Solutions Ambitious projects require carefully constructed solutions Challenge #1 The project experienced multiple design challenges resulting from existing conditions and client-driven changes. Solution HITT worked closely with the design team to ensure client requests were incorporated into the plans and carried out in the field. When a new client feature was requested, HITT performed field surveys, completed constructability analysis, and coordinated with multiple subcontractors to execute the scope and schedule. Challenge #2 Following the commencement of construction, the client submitted a request for a major revision to the information technology systems. Solution HITT’s worked with our trade partners to ensure that the final installation met our client’s needs. Challenge #3 Wtih more than 250 workers on-site during the COVID-19 pandemic create, safety and health were paramount while achieving the milestone schedule dates. Solution Although the project team experienced the impact of the pandemic, HITT implemented a split-shift program for all HITT and subcontractor employees to limit exposure. HITT also employed an on-site site marshal to ensure safe distancing, masking, and additional protocols to keep the project on track and delivered on time. Sustainability HITT collaborated with our project partners to achieve LEED Silver certification.
