This expansion of the National Cancer Institute Central Repository is vital to its mission to cure cancer, AIDS, and infectious diseases, and the increased sample storage capacity makes operations more efficient and effective.”

HITT's project execution is some of the best I've seen, especially given the tight schedule and challenging scope. No matter the situation, HITT has been excellent in navigating potential issues to ensure that all milestones were met. The team is always prompt in informing ownership of potential issues. What really differentiates HITT is that they always have a resolution or recommendation ready to share, which really helps minimize project risks. It's evident that HITT truly cares about the success of the project by the actions of the entire HITT team from top to bottom.

HITT maintained great communication throughout the project with weekly meetings, thorough project updates and minutes, and continuous communication with the UNC project management team. We had a unique situation with a third-party building tenant requesting weekly meetings with HITT, UNC, and the landlord to receive updates on construction for transparency and communication. HITT was more than willing to meet this request, complete the third party’s project forms, and comply with any other requests that were made. This flexibility and support made it easier for UNC.
